Due to a crazy week and having to wait for the replacement DSL modem I'm a bit late with my PSP impression. The system is extremely nice and puts the Nintendo DS to shame in both the hardware and software departments. Since most of you have probably already read the reviews from other sites I'll make this quick. The games are listed in order of preference.
Lumines: The break out hit of the PSP launch is extremely addicting. It's up there with Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League but nothing beats the master.
Wipeout Pure: Excellent futuristic racer with guns. If you liked Wipeout XL this is a must buy.
Ridge Racer: Excellent racer. Includes tracks from past Ridge Racer games and definitely puts the Nintendo DS version to shame. A must get for any racing fan.
Untold Legends: Fair action role playing game much in the vein of Baldure's Gate Dark Alliance. A horribly boring plot and weird loading pauses in the middle really hurt this game. I still find it a good relaxing game to play before falling asleep.
As far as peripherals go I grabbed the Intec carrying case, a set of Intec game holders and the Pelican screen protector with two game protectors.
The Intec game case is pretty nice and comes with some accessories. Of the accessories the game carrying clam case was by far my favorite. I liked the clam case holder so much I got another pair. They hold three games each and are easily carried in any pocket. So far I have shied away from using most everything else in the case since they look of questionable quality.
The Pelican flip top screen protector is a life saver. It covers the top of the PSP perfectly and has saved my PSP screen from major damage more than once. The protector also came with three disc protectors. I would not use these as the do the exact opposite. I have two huge scratches on the outer shell of my Ridge Racer game from the nubs the protectors use to lock on the game.
